AI-generated music policy

What you can distribute, what you must disclose, and what stores reject.

Updated Sep 1, 2026

Rythora welcomes AI-assisted and fully AI-generated music. To keep your releases live, follow these rules:

Disclosure is required

Mark the release as AI-generated and describe how AI was used (composition, vocals, production, mastering). This disclosure is passed to stores that require it and protects you from takedowns.

You must hold the rights

Check your AI tool's licence: you need commercial rights to the output. Some free tiers do not grant them.

Not allowed

  • Cloning or imitating a real artist's voice or name
  • Using another artist's name, lyrics or melodies without licence
  • Mass-uploading near-identical tracks or filler content (stores treat this as spam and may remove your whole catalog)
  • Artificial streaming of AI content

Monetisation

AI-generated releases earn royalties exactly like any other release when they meet the rules above.
