How streaming royalties are calculated

From stream to statement

1. Stores pay per stream based on their subscription and ad revenue for the month, divided across all streams (pro-rata). Rates vary by store, country and whether the listener is on a free or paid tier.
2. The partner reports to Rythora roughly 60–90 days after the end of each month, itemised by store, territory and track.
3. Rythora posts your statement in Accounting, showing streams, gross revenue, our share and your net.
4. You get paid once your balance clears the payout threshold.

These are industry averages, not guarantees:

• Apple Music: $0.006 – $0.010
• Amazon Music Unlimited: $0.004 – $0.008
• Spotify: $0.003 – $0.005
• YouTube Music: $0.002 – $0.004

Rythora's share

You keep the vast majority of net revenue; your exact split is shown on your distribution agreement in Account → Agreement.

Payout schedule

Payouts run monthly for balances above $25. Choose PayPal or bank transfer under Account → Payouts. A completed tax form is required before your first payout.
