How Rythora distribution works

From upload to live on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon — the full journey of a release.

The release journey

  1. Create your release in the Workstation upload wizard: metadata, artwork, audio, credits and store selection.
  2. Submit for review. Our automated checks flag anything incomplete immediately; a Rythora reviewer then verifies rights, identity and store compliance.
  3. Approval. Once approved, your release is packaged in the industry-standard DDEX format and queued for delivery.
  4. Delivery. Rythora delivers to our distribution partner feed, which pushes your release to Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, Deezer, TIDAL and more.
  5. Live. Each store confirms ingestion; you can follow per-store status in the Delivery Report on your release page.

Timelines

  • Automated checks: instant
  • Human review: typically 1–3 business days
  • Store ingestion after delivery: 2–7 days (Spotify and Apple Music are usually fastest)

We recommend submitting at least 3 weeks before your intended release date to allow for editorial pitching and pre-saves.
